South Africa is a top team of cricket. South Africa has participated in all the 5 T20 world cups from 2007 to 2014. The current rank of South Africa in T20 cricket is 6. South Africa qualified for the semi finals of 2009 and 2014 T20 world cups but could not advance beyond this stage. So far, South Africa has played 26 matches in all its world cup appearances while the team won 16 matches and lost 10 matches and their winning percentage is 61.53%.

Faf du Plesis is the captain of South African T20 team while other main players of the team are David Miller, AB de Villiers, Rilee Rossouw, Morne Morkel, Justin Ontong, Imran Tahir, Q de Kock (wk), Ryan McLaren, JP Duminy, Farhaan Behardien, Wayne Parnell, Dale Steyn, Kyle Abbott and Hashim Amla. South African T20 team is a very balanced team which can defeat any opponent team on its own day. There are good batsmen, bowlers and all rounder in the team and we can expect that the South African team can win its first T20 world cup next year in India.
